The new series, Heroes: Origins, will fill the gap between seasons of the main series, and will introduce a new character each week. Viewers will get to select their favorites, and those characters will be included in the following season.

My daughter hooked me on it on Episode 3, thanks to Sci-Fi channel for getting me caught up, and I haven't looked back. MOD: Added Spoiler Warning to the remainder of this post. As I colored last night before the show, my phone rang at 8:42, It was a pre-recorded voice message from Nathan Petrelli (Pasdar) reminding me to get out and vote. We saw Micah take care of that! I'm hoping for an all-out slugfest between Sylar and Peter next week, I'm hoping an homage to the first fight in Superman II between Kal and Zod inspired Kring, or Jeph whispered into his ear! As far as a spinoff, I'd love a flashback of the former heroes, and what broke them apart. We know Peter and Nathan's parents were part of this team, as was Hiro's father, and I'm assuming Linderman. It's comics without the spandex, and I think this will help the books that have experimented with this idea. -KJC
