Subject: Kristen Bell joins Heroes

Xtra.gifKristen Bell, the star of the television show Veronica Mars (recently canceled after three seasons), has joined the cast of NBC's Heroes for its second season, announced Variety magazine. Bell will first appear in an October episode. The second season begins Sept. 24.

Bell will also star in the movie Fanboys about a group of die-hard Star Wars fans, and as the title character in the upcoming movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a film by writer/director Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Freaks & Geeks).
